Jon Lee has been with Baird since 2009 and brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Baird, he spent over a decade with Wachovia Securities and earlier worked with Prudential Securities and Shearson Lehman Brothers, where he began his career.
Jon’s practice focuses on comprehensive financial planning for individuals, families, businesses, and trusts. His areas of expertise include retirement planning, estate planning, and customized portfolio management, all delivered through a disciplined and highly personalized approach.
He is known for building long-standing relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and attentive service. Jon takes the time to understand each client’s unique goals and values, developing tailored strategies designed to support their financial lives across generations.
Jon earned his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is a member of the Gold Country Estate Planning Council and has served as Chairman of The Center for the Arts in Grass Valley, as well as a contributor to the Yuba River School’s Education Foundation.
Jon lives in Nevada City. He enjoys skiing, cycling, fly fishing, golf, gardening, and attending live music events. He is the proud father of three adult children: Jessica, Erika, and Galen.
