Janice Dunn is dedicated to helping clients achieve financial clarity and long-term success by aligning their financial decisions with their personal values. She believes that while financial plans evolve over time, strong relationships built on trust, communication, and understanding remain constant.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Janice joined Baird in 2015 and has developed a practice centered on holistic, client-first planning. Her areas of focus include women’s wealth management, intergenerational planning, and guiding clients through significant life transitions such as divorce, loss, and inheritance.
Janice’s approach is highly collaborative. She works closely with clients to understand their goals, priorities, and concerns, and then translates that vision into a thoughtful, adaptable strategy. Her practice is built on mutual respect, transparency, and empowering clients to make confident financial decisions.
She earned her degree from the University of Oregon and later completed a teaching certification at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has been an active member of the Financial Planning Association for over 15 years.
Janice resides in Nevada City and is actively involved in the local community, supporting organizations such as The Center for the Arts, KVMR, and Sierra Harvest. Outside of work, she enjoys the arts, education, skiing, yoga, and gardening.
